From October 4 – 9……
Pink boots and pretty dresses after church on Sunday morning. It’s a shame they can’t look in the same direction at the same time….
Sweet sisters…..
Such a pretty little blondie! Bright colors really make her golden tan and hair pop.
We surprised the girls with tickets to Disney on Ice – we waited until that weekend to even buy our seats because we were a little on the fence about taking Abbi. She hadn’t been to any big “shows” yet and this stuff isn’t exactly cheap. But, this year’s theme was geared towards younger kids with lots of Mickey and we thought she’d love it.
We loaded up with one treat per kid (they each got snow cones in overpriced souvenir cups) and we got to our seats.
I’d say her reactions at seeing her faves – Mickey and Minnie – was more than worth it.
She was captivated the whole time. Since you can pick your spots I picked ours with the wall right behind us – I get SO tired of little kids kicking and climbing on us at these things and it was the PERFECT spot. She could climb and stand and not bother anyone and with a wall behind us we weren’t bothered by anyone either.
After the show. Both girls loved it and Abbi was so interested in everything going on that she wasn’t a bit of an issue.
Why not dress in rain gear and umbrellas on a rainy fall night and play? They were “girls in new york city in the rain”. Of course. (Abbi’s at the top on the other side of the gate in her pink rain coat and pink umbrella.)
Casual eats.
Lilli got great marks at her parent-teacher conference. She took the Reading test on a day where she came home with a 103 fever that afternoon. I can’t imagine how she’d do well! She reads at nearly a third grade level and is the top reading and spelling group in her class. But she is a bit wiggly….no surprise!
She made a birthday card for her teacher…..
Sweet little thing!! She loves her teacher and her teacher really is so cute and fun. Perfect for first grade kiddos.
Lazy nights cuddling with blankets and Mickey really are my favorite.
