From December 24th (duh)…..
We had a nice and low key Christmas Eve. Our favorite thing is just to be lazy on Christmas Eve, make some goodies, and just relax. The girls opened one present each and we baked some holiday goodies.
First up – Peppermint Oreo Chex mix – any baking activity where you get to smash something is a huge hit with Abigail.
Later we made cookies for Santa.
The girls are old pros at the cutout cookies – they can pretty much cut, decorate and ice them without us!
Finished goods! This year Lilli’s were very precise, Abbi’s just had a LOT of sprinkles.
We always watch a special video Santa sends them each year, and we track where he’s at.
Lilli’s letter to Santa. The Ipad was a last minute add, and Santa doesn’t do last minute adds.
When it was time to read the Night Before Christmas only 2/3rds of the kids were interested.
Eventually Abbi came around. This year Flower brought them matching unicorn PJs. I guess the holiday ones were sold out REALLY early at Gymboree.
The whole fam.
Cookies for Santa and veggies for the reindeer.
Saying good-bye to Flower until next year.
Sweet sisters.
They got in bed and stayed there this year, and Santa had a lot of goodies for them.
Abbi’s stash – her ask was for the blue car with shiny wheels.
And Lilli had asked for Rainbow Looms. Santa kept it simple, but got them lots of things to be excited about!
